It is best to break up the characters into groups and generate random sequences containing those characters. Each group should contain some characters that sound similar such as "H" and "5". Once you can "copy" letters in a group with some amount of confidence, you can proceed to another group which contains some extra characters. Some example files which may be used with the programs:

• group1 contains AIH5/
• group2 contains above plus ESB6?
• group3 contains above plus CQL7;
• group4 contains above plus DUF8.
• group5 contains above plus JWM1,
• group6 contains above plus OGK0-
• group7 contains above plus NPR2
• group8 contains above plus TVY3
• group9 contains above plus ZX94

Computer Programs:

• Unix: Download the tar file GW4pts.tar and extract its contents by entering "tar -xvf GW4PTS.tar"
  The program runs only in the "console" mode, not in an xterm window. Test the program by entering
  
  morse -p "test"
  
  If the program does not run, compile it again by entering "gcc -o morse morse.c"
  Once the program is running, use "morse -f group1 to start practicing with the first group of letters above. Enter just "morse" to study the options of the program.
